OVERVIEW
The second layer of the CarLifeCare three-layer system. The main armour layer providing hardness of 6–9H. Creates a Si-O-Si ceramic network that works like a shell. Use together with Base Polymer and Top CarLifeCare.
02
CHEMICAL COMPOSITION
Organosilicon polymer (silicones)
Forms the ceramic network base. Creates a three-dimensional Si-O-Si lattice — the classic "ceramic" component providing hardness up to 9H.
Fluoropolymer (PTFE-type)
Creates an anti-adhesion effect — nothing sticks to the coating: road chemicals, bitumen and insects simply cannot adhere.
Cyclotetrasiloxane (D4)
Opens up during curing and integrates into the polymer network, increasing crosslink density. Higher density means greater hardness and chemical resistance.
Aliphatic hydrocarbons
Regulate matrix elasticity, preventing the coating from becoming brittle under impact.
03
CHEMISTRY OF THE PROCESS
1
The organosilicon polymer forms a three-dimensional Si-O-Si network (siloxane bonds, 452 kJ/mol). This is chemical bonding to the surface — not mere mechanical adhesion.
2
Cyclotetrasiloxane (D4) integrates into the network, increasing crosslink density — directly affecting hardness and chemical resistance.
3
Fluoropolymers (PTFE-like structures) create an anti-adhesion effect: road chemicals, bitumen and insects simply cannot stick.
🔩
Reinforcing filler
Increases mechanical strength
🌡
Thermal bridge
Distributes load evenly
☀️
UV stabiliser
Neutralises harsh UV radiation
04
PHYSICS OF THE PROCESS
20 nm particle size
Smaller than the wavelength of visible light (380–750 nm) → coating is completely transparent
Particles penetrate into lacquer micropores (50–100 nm), creating a gradient transition without a sharp boundary
Eliminates delamination — the coating becomes one with the factory paint
"Liquid glass" effect
On impact, energy is distributed across the entire surface rather than concentrated at the point of impact
Hard yet elastic film — works like a shell

IMPORTANT BEFORE APPLICATION
⚠ The coating system prevents water spots from penetrating the lacquer, however if the lacquer already contains traces of chemicals (road salt, alkalis, insect acids) that are invisible after polishing but appear under an IR lamp — they will show through the coating in sunlight.

The top layer of lacquer must be removed until no traces appear under IR heating. The client must be informed: it is not always possible to fully remove water spots and chemicals from the lacquer without repainting.
08
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
1
Perform professional preparation of the paint surface with final degreasing using CarLifeCare ACTIVATOR. Adhesion and polishing results depend directly on the use of the activating component. Chips must be sealed with two-component lacquer — otherwise they will be washed out during application.
2
Before application, shake the bottle. Do not leave the bottle open during work — keep it covered with your thumb.
3
Apply using the special applicator in small sections in a cross-hatch pattern (top-to-bottom, left-to-right, no gaps). Start with an area up to 60×60 cm — the area can be increased as you go. Ensure the coating is spread evenly with no missed spots.
4
1–1.5 minutes after application, buff with a microfibre cloth using straight, firm movements without pressure, removing all excess. Circular movements are prohibited. Start with short intense movements and finish with long strokes across the full length of the panel. Check quality with an inspection light.
5
The next layer — Base CarLifeCare — can be applied after 40–45 minutes.
6
Final curing in a warm, dry environment: in summer — 2–4 hours at +20°C; in winter — 6–8 hours.
09
PRECAUTIONS
Store in a dry, cool place out of reach of children.
Avoid contact with water during application.
Wear nitrile gloves and a protective mask during application.
Do not wash the car with chemicals for 5–7 days after application.
Store bottle tightly closed, in a dark place away from direct sunlight.
